Logs are records of every prompt you generate and the processing tools you use. They help you keep track of your activity and ensure you stay within the limits of your plan. In this article, we’ll guide you through the different locations where you can find your logs and how to interpret them.
🔔 Logs are important because they are deducted from the total generations allowed in your plan, helping you manage your usage effectively.
✅ Prompt Logs
Every time you generate a prompt in Promptitude—whether through the app, integrations, or the API—a log is created. This log provides a complete history of your prompt, allowing you to track:
The parameters you set for the prompt.
The results generated from the prompt.
Any conversations that occurred as a result of the prompt.
This means that if you have a prompt that leads to a chat with results, you’ll have a full history of that conversation, ensuring you don’t miss any details.
✅ Assistant Interaction Logs
When you interact with an AI assistant, those interactions are recorded as Chats. These chats serve as logs that document the entire conversation, including all metadata associated with it. While these logs are not included in the main Logs compilation, they are still accessible for you to review your interactions and improve your experience.
✅ Tool Usage Logs
Promptitude includes built-in tools like “Add Context” and “Activate Web Search.” Whenever you use these tools, they also generate logs. These logs capture:
The information handled by the tool.
The performance of the tool in terms of metadata.
Additionally, if you connect external tools, those interactions will also create logs. This is particularly useful for debugging and improving your AI workflows, as you can track the processing information of each call made.
Finding and understanding your logs in Promptitude is vital for tracking your usage and optimizing your experience. By checking the Prompt Detail Page, Universal Logs Page, Tools Page, and Assistants Interface, you can stay informed about your activity and make data-driven decisions.
Remember to keep an eye on your KPIs to ensure you’re within your plan limits and maximizing your efficiency.
Happy logging!
