Whether you're interested in leveraging the power of OpenAI, Anthropic, GoogleAI, or any other supported provider for text generation, we've made the setup process straightforward and user-friendly.
🔹 Get your provider's API key
Before you can add an AI connection, you'll need to have an account with your chosen AI provider. Once you've set up your account, obtain an API key. This key is essential as it allows Promptitude to interact with the AI provider on your behalf.
How to get your API Key for:
🔹 Access AI Connections Settings
Navigate to Settings > AI Connections: Start by logging into your Promptitude account. Look for the 'Settings' option in the main menu. You will find a tab labeled 'AI Connections'. Click on this to proceed.
Click New Connection: Click on button labeled 'New Connection' and select the provider you wish to connect to from this list. You will see a list of supported AI providers, such as OpenAI, Anthropic, GoogleAI, and others.
🔔 Reload your provider's API beforehand: Most AI providers operate on a "pay as you go" model, which means you only pay for what you use. This makes it a flexible and cost-effective option for businesses.
Add Your API Key: Enter the API key you obtained from your AI provider (you had copied in the previous step). Make sure to double-check the key for accuracy to avoid any connection issues.
Click the 'Test & Save' button. If everything is configured correctly, you should see a confirmation message. Your AI provider is now connected to your Promptitude account and you're ready to create your first prompt!
