By adding your fine-tuned models, you can generate responses faster, save time, and cut costs. Easily identify your models by giving them unique names and descriptions, choose which models to use for your team, and keep all your models in sync with a single click.

Step 1️⃣: Create a Fine-Tuned Model in OpenAI
Before you can add a model to Promptitude, you need to create it in OpenAI. This process involves training a model on your specific data to fine-tune its performance. Once you've created your model, OpenAI will provide you with a unique ID for that model.
Step 2️⃣: Add Your Fine-Tuned Model to Promptitude
Once you have your model ID from OpenAI, you can add it to Promptitude. Here's how:
Navigate to the AI Connections page.
Click on Show Fine-Tuned Models in your AI Connection menu.
Click on the Add Fine-Tuned Model button.
Enter the Model ID provided by OpenAI.
Click Save.
Your fine-tuned model is now added to Promptitude!
Step 3️⃣: Give Your Model a Unique Name and Description
To easily identify your models, you can give them unique names and descriptions. This can be particularly helpful if you have multiple models for different purposes in editing a prompt.
Click on the Edit button next to the model you want to rename.
Enter a Name and a Description for your model.
Click Save.
Step 4️⃣: Set Your Model Status
You can choose which models to use for your team by setting their status to active or hidden.
Click on the Status dropdown next to the model you want to set.
Choose Active to make the model available for your team to use. Choose Hidden to hide the model from editing a prompt.
Step 5️⃣: Sync Your Models
To ensure all your models are up-to-date, you can sync them with a single click in your AI Connection Detail Page.
Click on the "Synchronize Models from OpenAI" button, located at the top right of your connection's model table.
Ready!
You will now find your tuned models at the end of the model dropdown when editing a prompt.
And that's it! You've successfully added your fine-tuned models to Promptitude. Remember, this feature is currently supported by OpenAI, but we're working on extending support to more AI Connections soon.
