Promptitude is where you manage all your prompts whether they're reusable or conversational for Generative AI - but you need to connect to Promptitude at least one AI provider to do the actual generation.

You can usually find the API key in the settings menu of your AI provider. Here are some quick tutorials on how to get your API key with the providers that Promptitude supports.

In Promptitude, go to the main sidebar > Settings and go to your AI Connections, click on the New AI Connection button at the bottom right:

​In the slide-over, choose your provider and name the connection (just use the provider name for starters). Then paste the API key which you had copied in the previous step:

Click Save, and you're ready to create your first prompt!

We’ve already created your first API key for you. Create more if you’re integrating Promptitude into more than one app.

Create a separate API key for each app or project that you’ll integrate with Promptitude. This will help you filter and review your logs with ease.

First, set up your prompts in Promptitude and add input fields. Then head over to your Make scenario, add the Promptitude app, and select the Generate a Prompt action: Select your prompt, map the input fields, and you’re done!
